In this award-winning game, players are tasked with constructing extravagant castles for King Ludwig of Bavaria, one room at a time. Each round, a different player sets the prices for the other players, adding a strategic element to the gameplay. The thrill of building is just as enjoyable as the victory itself.
Whether competing against friends or challenging computer opponents, players must carefully choose their strategies to emerge victorious. Alternatively, players can embark on the Campaign mode, where they can travel to 15 real-life castle sites and tackle up to 3 unique Crown Goals per site. This feature offers hours of fun and challenges.
The game features pass-and-play and computer match options for two to four players. Additionally, there is a Training Tower mode that teaches the game basics and a helpful system with illustrated rules, tips, and tile references. With 75 different room tiles and Game Center achievements, players have a wide variety of options to explore and achieve within the game.
Castles of Mad King Ludwig also offers an orchestral soundtrack to enhance the overall gaming experience. Players can even share their impressive castle creations on social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook.
